Colorado-inspired candle scents
Colorado Blue Spruce captures the crisp evergreen character of a Colorado forest with Fraser fir, blue spruce, and fresh mountain-air notes. It works beautifully for the holidays, but the clean woodsy profile makes it an easy year-round candle for anyone who loves the outdoors.
Rocky Mountain Cabin takes a fresher, more aromatic direction with eucalyptus, pine, bayberry, mint, and mountain-air notes. It is a good choice when you want a woodsy candle that feels bright rather than heavy.
Colorado Sunset pairs bright citrus with calming lavender for a softer interpretation of an evening near the foothills. The fragrance is uplifting and relaxing at the same time, making it an easy choice for bedrooms, living spaces, and quiet evenings at home.
A Colorado candle gift set
Want to sample several Colorado-inspired fragrances or send a piece of the state to someone else? Our Colorado 4-Pack includes four 5 oz soy candles inspired by Colorado: Colorado Blue Spruce, Rocky Mountain Cabin, Feelin' Peachy featured as Palisade Peaches, and Colorado Sunset. Each mini candle burns approximately 30 hours.
The set makes an easy Colorado gift for housewarmings, birthdays, hosts, former residents, mountain lovers, or anyone who would rather receive fragrance than another souvenir.
Made in Loveland, Colorado since 2018
Back Porch Candle Co. began in 2018 and continues to pour candles in Loveland at the base of the Rocky Mountains. We make our candles in small batches rather than treating “Colorado-made” as a marketing label added after the fact. It is where the company was built and where the candles are still poured today.
Our Farmhouse Collection offers the widest range of fragrances and sizes, including 16 oz and 8 oz candles plus wax melts in many scents. You can browse the Farmhouse Collection to explore seasonal, bakery, floral, fresh, fruit, and woodsy fragrances beyond the Colorado-inspired lineup.
How to choose the right Colorado candle
If you want the strongest Rocky Mountain feeling, start with Colorado Blue Spruce or Rocky Mountain Cabin. If you prefer something softer and more relaxing, Colorado Sunset is the better fit. If you are buying a gift and do not know the recipient's favorite fragrance family, the Colorado 4-Pack gives them several directions to try.
Still deciding? Our Find Your Scent quiz can point you toward a fragrance family, and our seasonal candle scent guide can help if you are choosing based on the time of year.
