At Back Porch Candle Co., we use 100% soy wax in our candles and wax melts. It fits the way we want to make home fragrance: thoughtfully, in small batches, with careful attention to how each scent performs.
Soy wax is a plant-based wax made from soybean oil. Paraffin wax comes from petroleum refining. Both have a long history in candlemaking, but we prefer soy for our own product line.
